It distributes the weight of it evenly so it is easy to carry and doesn’t cause any type of shoulder pain. Backpack diaper bags tend to be so comfortable that many users forget that they are even wearing them.
There’s also no risk of the diaper bag falling off of your shoulder as these types of diaper bags tend to stay firmly in place.
One negative is that it can also be difficult to reach things in a hurry such as a ringing phone.

For many parents, they choose to purchase both types of diaper bags so that they can pick and choose which one they want to use based on their needs for that day.
