What to Pack in Your Diaper Bag for Disneyland!

Disneyland is always a bit of fun! I’m sure your little one might even have a special Disney character that they might enjoy watching.

But Disneyland can be truly challenging with little ones as well.  It is important to have the right gear packed into your diaper bag because the day can be long and challenging for young kids.  The excited energy might soon wear off into tantrums, so it is best to be prepared!

We love taking a backpack style diaper bag to Disneyland as it is so much easier to carry around whilst also managing a busy baby or toddler as well. See our guide to help you find the best backpack baby bag for your Disney trip.

Disneyland Diaper Bag Packing List

Disneyland Diaper Bag Packing List

1. Snacks

Snacks are so important!  Not only do they fill bellies but it can be a great way to keep little ones occupied when life gets a bit boring – such as whilst waiting in lines for rides.  Make sure to take their favorite snacks and to take a variety of snacks along.

2. Sunscreen

Sunscreen is uber important for that beautiful sunny California weather! Take it along so you can reapply it during the day.

3. Sunhat

A sunhat is really helpful as well.  No explanation needed here right!?

4. Sippy cups

Take along a sippy cups filled with water.  You can easily get the cup refilled in the park, so don’t be afraid to ask.

5. Extra clothes

You should also have a set of spare clothes in your diaper bag.  I’m sure you know this and I’m sure you don’t need me to explain to you why you might need it.

6. Diaper Supplies

We highly recommend that you invest in a diaper changing clutch for the trip. That way you have your diaper supplies all bundled up together and you can simply grab the clutch and leave the bulky diaper bag behind with the other parent.

7. Disneyland Map

Make sure to have a map on hand, it comes in handy when your little one has an accident and you need to find toilets ASAP.  You should also download the Disneyland App to your phone as well as it is super handy and it even shares ride waiting lines with you.

8. Wallet

I like to keep mine in the diaper bag so that I don’t have to juggle an extra handbag for myself.

9. Sanitizing Wipes or Spray

Highly recommend that you have some sanitizer wipes or spray on hand.  The railings and rides get touched by so many other people. It is best to give those tiny little hands a quick wipe down before eating.
